After the creation of Pakistan in 1947, it had been touched that a replacement and permanent Capital City had to be built to replicate the range of the Pakistani nation. It had been considered pertinent to locate the new capital where it might be isolated from the business and business activity of the Karachi, and yet is definitely accessible from the remotest corner of the country.

A command was accordingly set in motion in 1958, trusted with the task of choosing a suitable site for the new capital with a specific importance on location, climate, logistics and protection requirements, aesthetics, and beautiful and natural beauty.
